About Us

Kelsi Parkins, M.Sc. Neuropsychology, B.Ed., B.A.

Hi, I’m Kelsi – Founder & Owner of NEUROTHRIVE Education & Consultancy.

I hold a Master’s degree in Neuropsychology (i.e., the study of brain-behaviour relationships, particularly how injuries or illnesses of the brain affect functioning) and I am a BC certified teacher.

I’ve spent the past eight years working with children, youth, and families impacted by diverse neurological, neurodevelopmental, and neurodegenerative conditions. With a background in Neuropsychology and Education, I’ve supported folks in schools, clinics, homes, and community programs—as a Behaviour Consultant, Teacher, Brain Injury Group Program Facilitator, Support Worker, and more.

NEUROTHRIVE Education & Consultancy was created out of a deep desire to support families during some of the most overwhelming and uncertain times—especially right after a new diagnosis. I know how confusing and isolating that can feel, as someone who has been impacted by neurological symptoms due to long COVID. My goal is to help bridge the gap between diagnosis and everyday life, aiming to improve your family’s quality of life and confidence in moving forward.

Services operate on a short-term, high-impact, and more immediate service delivery model. This is to ensure that more families can be supported right when they need it (urgently!), without long wait times or uncertainty about where to begin.

Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, or support person, I’m here to walk alongside you, answer your questions, and help you feel more confident and informed. I provide services both in-person (in the comfort of your home) in Kelowna B.C. and online anywhere in B.C.

My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and grounded in kindness, collaboration, and clear communication. I truly believe that when families are supported, when they need it most, everyone has a better chance to thrive.
